Every year Alpha Phi hosts four date parties where each Phi invites one person to accompany them to dance the night away at a club in Hollywood. Alpha Phis always have a memorable time at our two themed invites and two formal invites!
Disco Phi-ver
Our first invite of the year is Disco Phi-ver, a seventies themed party. Each girl and her date go all-out with costumes and always have a fun time boogieing the night away!
Bordeaux Ball
In the winter, we hold our formal, Bordeaux Ball, representing one of our official sorority colors. At this classy event, all of the Phis and their dates have a great time hanging out before Winter Break.
Spring Invite: Alpha Phi Speakeasy
Each spring we hold a different themed invite. This year our theme was Alpha Phi Speakeasy and everyone had a great time dancing and hanging out in 20s attire.
Forget-Me-Not Ball
Our last invite of the year is Forget-Me-Not Ball, named after one of our sorority flowers. Seniors dress in color dresses and the rest of the Phis dress in black dresses to allow the seniors to stand out at their last invite at USC. This formal dance is a chance to celebrate the seniors and let them know that we will never forget them.
Exchanges are off-campus events between Alpha Phi and a USC fraternity and are always a lot of fun! Each year we have six exchangess with different fraternities. Not only are exchanges a great way to know to get to know the different fraternities but they also give the Phis an opportunity to showcase their creative costumes and bond with their sisters. Every year we have a great time with many of the fraternities at USC!
In addition to holding our own events, many Alpha Phis are invited to fraternity invites and formals. These events take place all over Los Angeles, as well weekend vacation destinations such as Las Vegas, Lake Havasu, and San Diego. You're always sure to have many Phis in attendance!
